Summertime Sweet Treats
Sometimes the best things in life aren’t planned, and this ice cream picnic was just what this family needed. After a week of vacation and lots of driving, we took today to slow down and just enjoy each other. Sweet treats that everyone enjoys are the best!

We were in ice cream heaven for this sweet picnic. It definitely helped cool us off from the heat and was something different than just eating at the dining table. The boys really enjoyed it too! Something so simple created such fun memories for our family. I highly recommend an ice cream picnic for you and your family!
Look how amazing these flavors are! These didn’t last 2 days in our house! We will definitely be stocking up for more. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Krunch Bars! They taste just like strawberry shortcake. The boys really liked the Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches because they were small enough for their little hands and a great portion for kids.
These were found in the ice cream aisle at our neighborhood Kroger! Great prices and awesome variety of flavors. They also had plain ice cream cartons too. It pays to stock up on these treats!
All in all, this was a fantastic morning for the family. Something as simple as ice cream and laying out a blanket in our front yard to enjoy time together was just what we needed. After a busy summer, I’m sure a lot of families could benefit from an ice cream picnic like this. Take the time to slow down and be present, and eat fast so the ice cream doesn’t melt all over!!
