Hello, hello friends! I’m sharing my weekly recap with you and also my February Faves for shopping all the sales.
We have been enjoying all the winter Olympic sports since they started a few days ago. The one that fascinates me so much is curling. They have this down to a science! Figure skating is obvious, but it makes me nervous they won’t stick their landing. My stomach is in knots the whole time.
All the sports are awesome, but my absolute favorite to watch is good ol’ skiing.

It amazes me how these athletes move so flipping fast down those hills. And they train like 24/7. Crazy good. I have skied a few times when I was a kid, and I loved it. I never made it down any black diamonds or anything, (like my sister does, so jealous!) but I did really enjoy it. Have you ever went skiing? Did you love it? Hate it? Whatever the case, you can’t deny these athletes abilities.
Right now, the women’s mogul freestyle skiing is on and I am just in awe. And I’m totally fangirling all these women skiiers.
Anyways, hope you all had a great week! The weather was super rainy and cold here, and the boys were just in a funk. They both had bad moods and were fighting for the better part of the evenings after school. Friday they had a snow day, but we had NO snow. Just ice. Some family and friends we know in Illinois got over 9″ of snow! Did you get snow where you are?
It’s supposed to be in the 50s all week here, so I am excited for the great temps to do more outside!
